iOS App Privacy Policy

Scope and contact

This policy covers the Office Chair Butt iOS app, a general-wellness movement reminder app. It is separate from the website privacy policy and Chrome extension privacy policy. For questions about this policy or your privacy, use our Contact page.

Information stored by the app

The app does not require a user account. Movement activity, history, favorites, schedules, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The app uses local operating-system notifications for movement reminders. It does not use a dedicated user-data backend, and it does not require GPS or precise-location permission.

Local app data is generally deleted when the app is uninstalled, subject to device or operating-system backups. The exact behavior of backups and any in-app deletion controls still needs release-build verification.

Advertising and third-party processing

The free version includes Google AdMob native and banner advertisements and occasional interstitial advertisements. Google UMP manages advertising consent where applicable, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework is integrated. Consent and tracking choices affect applicable advertising behavior; they should not be described as preventing every form of SDK processing.

Google’s advertising SDKs may process device identifiers, advertising interactions, an IP address that can indicate approximate network-derived location, and diagnostic or performance information. This is third-party advertising processing, distinct from the movement activity and preferences the app stores locally. The app owner does not operate a separate analytics service or a dedicated user-data backend. The exact SDK data categories, purposes, sharing, and retention must be verified against the installed SDK versions and Google’s current documentation before release. Apple services and permissions

The app uses iOS local notification capability for reminders and integrates Apple’s ATT framework. Apple operates the platform and any platform services under its own practices; see Apple’s privacy information. The app’s final permission prompts and any platform backup behavior must be checked in the release build.

Planned features

A Lifetime Pro in-app purchase and ad removal, additional themes, extended history, detailed insights, multiple schedules, and advanced PDF or image exports are planned. They are not represented here as available features. Any future purchase or export behavior will need its own disclosure review before launch.

Your choices and data

You can review iOS notification and tracking permissions in device settings. Local activity and preferences are generally removed on uninstall, subject to backups. Release verification and changes

Before publication, confirm the production app’s data flows, SDKs, permissions, consent behavior, backup and deletion behavior, App Store privacy answers, and any applicable purchase or export feature. This page will be updated when the verified app changes.
