Website help

Quick answers for the free tools.

How do I start a guided break?

Open the Guided Desk Movement Break, choose a duration, position, and focus, then select Start my break. You can pause, skip, restart, or end at any time.

Will the timer keep running if I leave the tab?

No. The session pauses when the tab becomes inactive. Return and select Resume when you are ready.

Do I need an account or notifications?

No. Both tools run in your browser tab without an account or notification permission.

Are my tool choices saved or sent to Office Chair Butt?

No. The guided break and checker keep your choices in the current browser tab while you use them. Their code does not send those choices to Office Chair Butt or save them in browser storage. Reloading or closing the tab clears them.

How do I complete the Desk Setup Checker?

Open the Interactive Desk Setup Checker, choose your computer type, then answer the short questions about your chair, feet, screen, input devices, and workspace. Select “Not sure” when needed. You can go back or edit answers after viewing the results.

What should I do with its suggestions?

Start with one practical adjustment that fits your equipment, then check the whole setup again. The notes reflect only your answers; they are general workstation guidance, not a professional ergonomic or medical assessment.
